I joined Resultmedia / WDG Group as a Junior PHP Programmer on the 4th of April, 2004, 4 months after I graduated from Monash University with the Bachelor of Computer Science Degree.
It was a very friendly working environment with nice people working around, and with a lot to learn to enhance my personal professional skills.
My main responsibility in the compnay was to implement Business Applications using PHP and MySQL Database. The wireframes and functional specifications were done by Business Analyst, who then gave us a detailed description of how the system works and the business rules applied to it. We then started to design databases according to the wireframes and functional specifications. Once we were happy with the database designs, we then started building the system using the HTML templates passed from web designers.
My main projects include COTR (Chefs On The Run Booking System), IDSS (International Development Support Services), Athenaeum Club Web Site Redevelopment. The details of those projects are listed further down the page.
I was also working for maintenance on various previous projects, mainly bug fixes, new functionality and contents changes. These include CRV (Country Racing Victoria), Arrowfield, TAI (Tax Audit Insurance), Vernet, and Salvation Army Employment Plus.
I have also worked on two database driven surveys for different clients, they are Myer One and Citrix Survey. Myer One survey was sent out by Mailout, which is one of Resultmedia's main products, to about 100,000 Myer One Customers and received around 40,000 responds.
